Description (English)

This is a one-of-a-kind wood art piece, created by hand-carving natural wood using a mini router and layering it with traditional Japanese kakishibu (persimmon tannin) dye.
Each piece is carefully crafted, resulting in delicate lines and a sense of depth and warmth that machines simply can’t replicate.
Its quiet yet striking presence makes it a perfect accent for any space.

The deep, earthy tones of kakishibu gradually change over time as they are exposed to light and air, developing a richer character with age.
The piece brings a refined “Wa-modern” (Japanese-modern) atmosphere to various interiors—from traditional tatami rooms and modern living spaces to entryways, cafés, and shops.
